Earth and Atmospheric Sciences Atlanta, GA – May 20 to July 27, 2018
• Do you have an interest in researching world environmental problems? • Are you interested in helping society determine strategies for adapting to and mitigating climate change? • Do you have any interest in any of the following science areas: i) Atmospheric Chemistry, ii) Dynamics of Weather and Climate, iii) Biogeochemistry, iv) Geophysics, v) Oceanography and Climate, vi) Paleoclimate, vii) Space and Planetary Science, viii) Remote Sensing Math, science and engineering majors are invited to apply to participate in a ten-week undergraduate research program that is hosted by Georgia Tech. Participants will gain broad perspectives by participating in a dynamic research environment while working with faculty members and mentors. The program also includes a number of professional development activities, “research horizons” faculty seminars, and a research symposium. Participants will receive a stipend of $5,000 for the ten-week program, a travel allowance, and housing on the Georgia Tech campus. Participants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
