This internship will provide 3 Spelman College sophomore biology majors with exposure to the USDA Forest Service and Atlanta Botanical Garden. The interns will receive valuable on-the-job training and experience. Interns will have the opportunity to learn about conservation research through data collection and management, computer based research, conservation horticulture, GIS mapping, field training, and molecular biology. Specific duties will include, but are not limited to:
