FUTURE SCHOLARS VISITATION PROGRAM (FSVP) FALL 2018
Sunday, November 11 – Tuesday, November 13, 2018
The purpose of this program is to recruit top underrepresented* in the discipline and/or first-generation students to UGA graduate programs. FSVP is a three-day intensive visit in which participants are provided with interactive workshops, sessions with both the Office of Student Financial Aid and University Housing, as well as inspirational talks from both faculty and former Future Scholars Visitation Program participants, with a departmental morning visit (to be held on Monday, November 12). The Graduate School is funding a visit to campus for top underrepresented within the discipline and/or first-generation students early in the admissions process (i.e., providing a “sneak peek”).
